SpeedAuthor’s Handy Tips for Microsoft Word

Tip 1.

When copying text from one document into another left click on the paste icon that appears. This will bring up a drop down menu:

Click on Match Destination Formatting. This will copy the text in the same style as your current document. This is very useful when working with your Active Proposal within SpeedAuthor Accelerator. This allows you to use content from previously created proposals and/or external documents without having to worry about re-formatting.

Tip 2.

When working with large documents use the Document View to make things easier to find. For Office 2007 users, turn on the Document Map by selecting the View ribbon. In the Show/Hide section select the tick box Document Map.

Clicking a heading in the document map panel, on the left, will bring you straight to the content. The Document map is beneficial when building your proposal using SpeedAuthor Accelerator. The Document map provides an excellent overview for the content present in your proposal.
